Hello, I'm searching for a new amplifier to upgrade my S.M.S.L SA60.
I'll use it to power my two Wharfedale Diamond 210 via banana plugs and it has to receive the signal from a SPDIF (my pc, but it can also be RCA in case), a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon turntable (so it has to have phono in) and if it's possible another RCA in for my keyboard but if not it isn't a big deal.
I looked at the Onkyo A9010 and it seems very good, I was just wondering if there exists some similar amplifiers (maybe with just 2-3 "line in" in order to cut the cost) that costs a little bit less. 150€ would be perfect as budget (Onkyo costs 190€) do you think it's possible to find one?
I'm also open to suggestions about the turntable since I didn't buy it yet and I'm going to. My principal concern is if I should buy a Pro-Ject primary and upgrade the cartridge later or just stick with a Debut Carbon that will also have a better arm for the cartridge and that costs only 60€ more. |
