Hey all.
Firstly, my theater is in an unfinished basement.  Bass is boomy in certain areas and nil in others.  Until the room is finished I can't do much.  Room is 22x16x8.  Not huge, but not small.
Anyway, I have one of the best subs in the business with the SVS PC-13 ultra. However, where I have it positioned, it's too far away to give the kind of tactile bass I need.
Plan is to get a second down the road, but I'm thinking if I should invest in a small sub behind my couch to completment the Ultra.  Ideally, I'd like to stay with SVS, but I'm thinking $500 max.  I'm regretting selling my PB10 NSD right now, but c'est la vie.
I thought about moving the SVS to behind my couch, but I like it where it is as the bass is very nice for music.  For movies I want more tactile feel.
What are some recommendations you can give here?
