Here is something to try to solve the drop outs. 1. Call Heos support. They are great. 2. Take an internet cable and hardware it to a port on your router. 3. Have the Heos support rep take you through a factory reset. 4. Using you apps do a add device. Keep the internet cable connected to the router and let all of the updates get downloaded and installed.
I tried to originally to the Soundbar install using wifi. The updates don't get installed properly .

If I have my phone open with the HEOS app and I am playing spotify in say the living room zone. Can I have my wife/friend open the HEOS app on their own device and play say music on their phone or pandora in the game room zone?
Another similar but different situation. If I am initially controlling music in the game room zone on my phone. Can a friend que up music for the game room zone on their phone also? Or can only 1 device control music in 1 zone at a time?

I think you can have as many controllers as you want!
