Sony's HT

I went through 5 pages and didn't see this listed.
I'm looking for a new soundbar, my old one is a Sony HT-CT150. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it, but I'm moving out and feel like I need to upgrade. Is this latest model better than what I currently have? I'm looking for a really good upgrade. So far, I can tell the subwoofer is built in. I had never really heard of that
So, can anyone here compare the 2 together and tell me if the latest model is worth buying? I wasn't that impressed with playing music on my latest soundbar, I'm hoping the HT-XT1 is better.

i went to best buy and the guy really recommended it for just normal tv viewing, it has a little bass to it but doesnt pack a punch for movies or music, and it doesnt have a sub out outlet so its really up to you and how it meets your needs

I have the HT-XT1... The sound is far better than what you can get from your ordinary flatscreen set. It does not have any external subs but it does have two small woofers on the underside. Bass is adequate but nowhere near an external sub. I like the unit because it is small and you can place your TV directly on the unit since it is pretty deep for a soundbar. Most soundbars I looked at blocked the IR sensor on my TV so it would force me to raise the set by placing something under the TV.
