How do you have the consoles connected? I know in your previous post you mentioned HDMI, but since the bar only has 2 HDMIs I am assuming one of your consoles goes directly to the TV via HDMI...and the other directly to bar via HDMI.
I have my PS4 connected to my TV via HDMI and to the bar via Optical. I set primary audio output on PS4 to optical and can set either DD or DTS (might be able to select both - cant remember). When I select DTS the bar lights up 'amber' as my instruction manual says it should.

How small are the volume increments especially on the low end? The S3851w I have now is either too low or too loud for normal watching.

GatorRican - let me know if you see these same things since you have a PS4 as well: I'm coming to the conclusion that this SB4051-C0 sound bar does NOT support Linear PCM multi-channel sound through HDMI (despite what reviews may say). If I connect directly to the sound bar via HDMI (input 5) and set my PS4 or PS3 to Linear PCM output (in the system settings, not Blu-Ray playback settings), I seem to get 2.0 LPCM sound (and the system tries to make it surround virtually). There's also some strange sound drop-off (for example, the PS4 makes sounds when you are navigating the system's menus and I won't hear every sound when scrolling through menu items). If I set the PS4 sound output to Bitstream DD or Bitstream DTS via HDMI, surround output is perfectly fine. Blu-ray playback is only in true 5.1 surround when set to Bitstream (Direct), which is what it's supposed to be set on from what I've read. Linear PCM only outputs 2.0 stereo. I'm tempted to contact Vizio support to see if it indeed doesn't support LPCM 5.1.
