I'm installing a 5.1 surround sound system in my large living room that measures 22 x 19 ft with tall ceilings. Will be using a Denon AVR-S730H receiver. I have two cheap surround JBL's already in-wall that I might leave alone if it's worth it to invest more in the LCR and subwoofer. We mostly use this room for movies, TV, and music.
I've seen a lot of recommendations on this forum, but some stuff was out of my budget. I'm looking at $2,000-3,000 total for either LCR and subwoofer (or for all 5.1). Prefer in-wall subwoofer if possible, too.
I was very interested in Elac's new IW-UC51-W and IW-U61-W designed by Andrew Jones that debuted at CEDIA 2016 but the company has said there's no timeline for their release. I don't know if the Elac IW-D61-W and IW-DC51-W are that great.
Other brands I've seen on related threads that keep coming up are the following: B&W (CWM7.3 and CWM7.4 but pricey), Paradigm (CI Pro P1-LCR for $999 or CI Pro P80-IW ~$479), Triad (Gold?), Martin Logan (Edge is probably out of budget), and RBH (seen SI-663, SI-6100, and SI-760 recommended before but not sure about prices).
Thanks for the help!
