I have the Vizio 5.1 soundbar (not the newest version).
I also have a set of the Pioneer Andrew Jones bookshelf speakers.
Can I use the Pioneers to replace the two satellite/surround speakers that came with the Vizio soundbar?
If so, do I go from the Vizio subwoofer to my little $25 power amp and into the Pioneers, or will the subwoofer power the speakers?
Look guys, obviously I'm not dealing with anything fancy. It's a studio apartment. Yes, I'd love to throw money at a better setup, but please save the sales pitches (for now).
Thank you.

If the Pioneer speakers are 8 ohm and don't require too much power, you can try going directly from the sub.  Of course everything in power related...
For the last 3 years I've done something siimlar with my Vizio 54 incher  and its big strong 8 inch sub.  I have no problem powering my Infinity Minuettes which have a Sensitivity of 87dB and only need between 15 and 80 watts of power.  Good luck.
