Guys, I am new here and I am looking for an entry level 2.1 subwoofer system for my laptop. Basically to listen to music, watch movies and play some games.
I have a couple of choices in mind
Logitech Z213
Logitech Z313
what is the better one out of this? is there much difference between the 213 and the 313?
thanks for the help in advance ....

Neither.  Both lack an independent subwoofer volume control which means you're stuck with crappy muddy bloated mid-bass.  You're better off using $35 earbuds like Sennheiser CX300 or $40 Koss PortaPro headphones (they look like crap but sound good).  Spend an extra $20-30 and you'll be all set with AKG K240 or Grado SR60 headphones.
Or, this isn't too bad:
https://www.amazon.com/Altec-Lansing...ec+lansing+2.1
It has a tone control knob which is the second best thing to an independent subwoofer volume knob, and the AL woofers are decent compared to Logitech's.

If you could up your budget some, I'd say instead to look for a set of Promedias. The cheapest I see a set at though, new, is $110 from ebay.

Actually could even be a bit cheaper... I see they have a code going on:
PGET15OFF
If you go for the promedias from ebay, might as well try the code.  This seller has them at $110 --

If code works, $95 is pretty much the cheapest I have ever seen a new set, even during holiday sales.
